| Bio: | I am the mother of a four year old little boy. I have been married for six years (feels like 15). I am an English teacher (with a GED emphasis) in an all male juvenile correctional facility. I am proud of the work I do, yet I feel it cuts me off of having a normal life. Prisons are a society of themselves with a completely different set of rules than society teaches. I have been a teacher for three years. Before teaching, I worked in the medical and dental fields for a total of nine years and nine months. I am really good at understanding and deciphering insurance forms. I like people who have unique senses of humor and have original (or what seem to be original) thoughts. I detest (or at least have no respect for) followers. I hate gangs and everything associated with them. I really like people who respond to journal entries. I like the idea of ongoing conversation. Since working at the prison around so many males, I almost only listen to female singers (I need more estrogen in my life), but have recently been branching out to listening to more male singers and have recently become obsessed with the Kelly Family whose CDs are not readily available in the States. I find Alan Rickman insanely attractive in the "In Demand" video by Texas(to my poor puzzled husband's surprise...he just doesn't get it). I hope to be starting on my Master's degree in education (Curriculum and Instruction) at least by the summer of 2008. | |||||
